MCKK English Drama 2013

Yes...again i am here in kuala kangsar spending my free quality time...

i know some of u are going nuts of me driving up north almost every weekend without fail but frankly speaking ... i dont give a damn n the hell cares....hahahahah....i started my journey as early as 5.30 in the morning alone...

To be honest, it took me by surprised when Aqil mentioned he is in the school drama competition.. i wasn't so sure how he was going to act due to he was never being with a any acting club or skills before. But thankfully he was selected for the first time and came out with the biggest smile on his face. Watching at him joined in with all the dancing singing and drama and was a joy to be there support him and hoped he would be bring victory to MCKK drama team.

The English Drama teams from various schools in Kuala Kangsar had participated the English Drama Competition which was held at Hargreaves Hall, The Malay College.

It was a dancing singing drama (musical) performed by them and as i can say i enjoyed it so much and was a fun memorable watching and hoped he would have the chance to be back again next year...

Apparently, I did underestimated any drama and school play so far and assumed drama is not really a physical activity especially in comparison to rugby or swimming but sitting at the hall and i begin to realized I would have to say i am all so very wrong. Being on stage and acting as whole requires a great amount of movement!
With a lot of practice it has been shown to improve flexibility, coordination, balance and control. These physical activities i bet it reduced the pain of physical stress internal or external that would otherwise negatively impact a physical development. Not bad, eh? Well, I’m not done yet, so keep on reading these ramblings.....

Overall its a similar to a musical sketch  show featuring stories by students and performed by by students. Each team comprises a maximum of 18 participants (maybe....it may be less ) including the technical crew: stage manager, technical coordinator, set and prop assistant, prompter and  teachers-in-charge. I would like to wish my highest gratitude to Teacher Azira for being so supportive and dedicated ensuring that those who involved have the opportunity to learn through drama. Its a good  MCKK drama team by the way...

i sincerely understands how depressing it is to manage a team of 18 boys with 18 types of attitudes but to discover teacher azira's energy and enthusiasm alone are not enough to get it through without her patience.....thanks again teacher Azira .

I am hoping these will help you to not only survive as a drama teacher but achieve the success you richly deserve.....

Anyway MCKK Drama team won !! See u in the next competition ....
