Yes this year 2013, Malaysia celebrates the 56th year of Merdeka. And for any normal scenario, thousand of Malaysians took part in the Merdeka Day parade at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, but this very particular year, hubby and i welcoming our Independence day by joining other Malaysians waving our flag alongside the official Merdeka Day parade in Ipoh . The reason ? agak TP la jawapannya...yes ...my Aqil was given the chance to play in the MCKK brass Band , its a brass instrument , a clarinet...for the coming National Day parade in Ipoh.. mmmm not bad huh? hahaha ...one thing i am certain though, i cannot letting this fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Aqil go by without seizing it, so i will definitely be providing this brilliant opportunity again n again...i will support him by being there in no matter what.....so that i will have to watch this space for exactly how he will achieve later, insya allah...Amin
.
The Regent of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah joined thousands of locals to celebrate the 56th National Day celebration in front of Dewan Bandaran Ipoh. The ceremony started as soon as Raja Dr Nazrin, who was accompanied by Raja Puan Besar Tuanku Zara Salim, arrived at 8.15am. The royal couple was greeted by Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir and his wife Datin Seri Saripah Zulkifli.
The event started with the Regent inspecting a guard of honour followed by singing of the national anthem.
A pantomime performance led the Merdeka celebration before 110 contingents marched past the main stage, live marching bands lit up the field and along the roadside excluding the decorative floats ! We tagged my dad along to witnessed the spirit of tradition, flaunt our patriotic side and join other fellow Malaysians for a day out under the scorching sun.... The event ended with a multi hue fireworks which rained confetti on visitors. We arrived kinda early, so I get to see most of the parade, but I did get to take a couple nice pictures especially i am just a few metres away from Raja Nazrin...lucky me. I got to see people of completely different heritages coming together to celebrate satu Malaysia ("one Malaysia") on Independence Day. I really enjoyed seeing this interaction on one of the biggest days in Malaysian culture and history....
Each and everyone of you clearly care for our children and want the best for them. If I could wave a magic wand i would all have a sack of money under my tree or in my home at least if i do have a tree and I would wave the same wand over understood the necessity in caring for my children, I would make them see with that magic wand. Unfortunately I don't have a magic wand and instead all I can offer is hope, hope that a change takes place so that your children benefit from both of us. Knowing that my children are thankful for me and let them always be my focus in determining my decisions and outcomes. I sincerely hope that me and my family will find peace and happiness despite tough times. Anyway Aqil u are my joy and heart's delight......
For mr dearest Aqil .... We are not put on earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other. If u are there always for others, then in time of need.... someone will be there for u....love u so much
